Are you feeling weighed down by school anxiety, imposter syndrome, or the stress of managing a chronic health condition? Maybe academic pressures, work stress, or constant self-doubt have left you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Perfectionism, identity struggles, or the need to constantly compare yourself to others can make it even harder to move forward. If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, but it’s also the first step toward creating meaningful change in your life.

I specialize in working with students, young adults, and adults who are navigating challenges such as school anxiety, imposter syndrome, and chronic health issues, along with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and life transitions. Together, we’ll create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. In our sessions, we’ll focus on building practical tools you can use every day, like reframing negative thoughts, managing stress and triggers, practicing mindfulness, and learning ways to regulate emotions.

My approach is personalized, strengths-based, and holistic, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practices, and psychodynamic approaches. With CBT, we can address school-related anxiety by shifting unhelpful thought patterns into more balanced ones. ACT can be especially helpful if you’re coping with the uncertainty or frustration of chronic health issues, allowing you to accept difficult emotions while moving toward your values. Psychodynamic work can help uncover how past experiences contribute to imposter syndrome today. Together, we’ll choose the tools that feel most useful to you, so therapy feels supportive, empowering, and relevant to your goals.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am fully supervised by experienced clinicians while completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. This means you receive therapy that is not only affordable, but also supported by fresh, up-to-date training and additional oversight to ensure high standards of care. Whether you’re navigating school stress, chronic health challenges, or the weight of imposter syndrome, I’ll meet you where you are and support you at your pace.

I believe every person is worthy of compassion and capable of growth. Beginning therapy is an act of courage, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you in your journey. I offer in-person sessions at our Barrie and Newmarket locations, as well as virtual and phone therapy across Ontario. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to book a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation so we can connect and see if I’m the right fit for your needs.
