Clinical Supervision
I have been in practice since 2012 with training/experience in CBT, anxiety and mood disorders, trauma/trauma reprocessing, relationship issues, and narcissism/narcissistic abuse. I have completed additional training specific to providing clinical supervision.
Virtual Therapy
Virtual therapy can feel easier, gentler, and more accessible than coming into an office. Whether you prefer meeting from your home, need more flexibility, or feel safer talking without being seen, we offer options that meet your comfort level. Every therapist at My Inner Peace provides virtual care, and phone sessions are also available for those who want more privacy or less vulnerability than video.
Trauma Therapy
Symptoms you may be experiencing as a result of trauma could be nightmares, having a hard time regulating your emotions, difficulty maintaining relationships, depression, anxiety, relying on substances to cope, flashbacks, feeling hopeless or worthless, suicidal thoughts, difficulty sleeping, loss of interest in activities that used to bring you joy, or being quick to anger.
Teen Therapy
It can be hard for teens to make sense of everything they’re carrying. They may feel overwhelmed by school pressure, friendships, social expectations, identity questions, or emotions that feel too heavy to hold alone.
Substance Use & Recovery
You may feel as though you’ve lost total control. Or that something you used to do occasionally, has strengthened its grip on you. That even when you say you will stop, you end up giving in again and again.
Therapy for Stress & Burnout
As a response to stress, you may be feeling anger and frustration, fatigue, anxiety, and worry. Physical symptoms can include fatigue, nail biting, headaches, over or under eating, teeth grinding, indigestion, decreased sex drive, and muscle tension. Maybe you’re noticing yourself procrastinating more, having sleep difficulties, overthinking, increasing drug or alcohol use, or withdrawing socially.
Seniors & Older Adults
Senior and older adult mental health concerns encompass a range of emotional challenges that can significantly impact your well-being. Grief and loss become more prevalent as your loved ones pass away and life circumstances change. These losses may leave you feeling lonely, sad, and even depressed, necessitating support to process emotions and find ways to cope.
Relationship Issues
Let’s face it, being in a relationship with another human being is difficult. No matter how much love we have for them, or how much they have for us, we each come from different backgrounds, with different upbringings, have learned different ways to receive and show love, have our own individual values, goals, and dreams.
Personal Wellbeing
Maybe your physiological, safety, love and belonging needs are all being met. Maybe you have a good sense of self-worth so your self-perception is positive. But what if something is still missing? What if that doesn’t feel like it’s enough?
Neurodiversity affirming therapy
Parenting can be incredibly meaningful and deeply challenging at the same time. You may love your child more than anything and still feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of what to do next. Many parents share that they feel pressure to be patient, calm, and confident when their inner world feels anything but steady.
Neurodiversity affirming therapy
Many neurodivergent clients come to therapy feeling misunderstood or exhausted by trying to navigate a world that does not always fit how their mind and nervous system work. You may be carrying sensory overwhelm, burnout, emotional fatigue, or frustration with daily tasks that seem to take more energy than they should.
Low Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem or a low sense of self-worth can have a significant impact on your life. It may lead to negative self talk, self-doubt, and lack of confidence in yourself. This can affect your relationships, work or school performance, and overall well-being. It may also contribute to anxiety and depression.
Individual Therapy
Many people reach out when life feels heavier than usual. You may be noticing worry, sadness, stress, burnout, irritability, difficulty concentrating, or a sense of feeling stuck. You might be carrying experiences that you have not had space to talk about, or emotions that feel confusing or overwhelming.
High Conflict Couples Therapy
High conflict relationships can leave both partners feeling overwhelmed and misunderstood. You may be stuck in patterns of arguments that escalate quickly or conversations that always end in hurt. It may feel like even simple discussions turn into tension or withdrawal. Many couples describe walking on eggshells or feeling disconnected even when they care deeply about one another.
Grief Counselling
Grief has no one-size-fits-all approach, so everyone will have a different experience and a different way to deal with their loss. However, we find it important to provide a list of some commonly associated symptoms so that you don’t have to feel alone in your experience.
Family Therapy
Family relationships can be deeply meaningful and deeply challenging at the same time. You may be noticing ongoing conflict, emotional distance, recurring misunderstandings, or patterns that feel hard to shift. Some families come to therapy during a major life transition. Others seek support because communication has become tense or fragile.
Eating Disorders
Eating Disorders (EDs) can affect all genders, ages, abilities, and backgrounds. They can manifest in a variety of ways and can be influenced by a number of factors including biological, psychological, social/cultural influences, or exposures to trauma.
Divorce & Separation Support
We help you understand your emotional reactions, rebuild steadiness, and sort through the tangled layers of separation. Together we explore communication, boundaries, major decisions, and the shift from being a partner to being an individual again.
Depression
Depression does not discriminate against age, race, culture, ethnicity, gender, or social status. While some of these factors may increase your risk, none of these protect you against it.
