Saba Sadeghimehr
Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals—students, adults, adolescents, seniors, and immigrants—each with their own unique story. For the past two years, I’ve also supported women, 2SLGBTQIA+, and non-binary individuals in group settings, which has deepened my understanding of the strength and vulnerability that come with sharing space and healing in community.
I’ve worked with people facing addiction, those living with someone who struggles with addiction, and those healing from past experiences tied to it. I also have personal and professional experience with social anxiety, major depressive disorder, and stress—so I truly understand how heavy those feelings can be, and how important it is to have support that feels grounded, non-judgmental, and real.
In therapy, I focus on what’s working and how we can build on that. My approach combines Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). These approaches help us create practical tools, shift thought patterns, and explore the emotional core of your experiences so we can find meaningful paths forward together.
I specialize in supporting neurodivergent children, including those with Autism, ADHD, and ADD through tailored approaches that honour their unique strengths and needs. As an instructor therapist, I’ve developed individualized programs and worked closely with families to offer support that’s both compassionate and effective. I know how important it is for parents and caregivers to feel empowered and supported, too.
Before becoming a therapist, I was deeply involved in campus mental health as an Outreach Director, where I worked to break down stigma, build partnerships, and advocate for stronger mental health services—especially for students navigating academic, social, and transitional pressures.
At the heart of my work is empathy and active listening. My goal is always to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or just feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and respect.
Together, we’ll work toward healing, resilience, and the kind of life that feels more aligned with who you are.
